"After having a very cheap Logik washer, which was the loudest machine I’ve ever owned and my clothes never seemed clean with a tiny drum this Hotpoint washer/dryer is amazing.
It has taken me a few trials of cycles and pressing all the buttons it is a very efficient machine. The cycles are a little longer than I am used to but roughly 1:55-2:30 but these clean very well and the spin is brilliant. I am used to very damp clothes but this washer spins very well and it takes less time to dry. The clothes are clean and has managed to clean some whites back to the newness! The size of the drum means I can put work clothes from the week and some towels in and still have masses of space. Roughly 3 trousers, 2 jumpers, 4 shirts, smalls, 2 t shirts and 2 normal sized bath towels.
The dryer losses the one star because I can not control the temperature, there is a slight odour after which I’m not sure if it’s the new machine. I have to put a quick wash on after the dry cycle without a spin just to clean the washer out of any fluff that I haven’t been able clean.
Overall for me to upgrade like I have it’s a miracle machine! Maybe if I’d had a similar washer before I wouldn’t be as amazed"

"Nice looking machine. I was replacing an indesit and specifically wanted a different make so was disappointed to discover hotpoint and indesit are made by same manufacturer and the machines looked identical from the back. 30min quick wash is great, and the 1600 spin is fantastic as the clothes barely need any time to dry but high spin is not available on all programmes and I’m a little dubious as to whether the stain removing programme is effective as it runs at 20degrees. "

Wash and dry time is quite lengthy, but if this doesn’t bother you then it won’t be an issue.

"Purchased this product to replace another hotpoint I had had for 12 years !
It looks good , is really quite quiet and relatively easy to use .
Several washing options , some do seem to take a long time but clothes feel good when they come out .Instructions supplies are a bit useless especially on dryer only use but online I found a more understandable guide!"

"I bought this because my previous Hotpoint served me well for years before breaking forever. This looks good but has v-e-r-y long programme times. I really miss the 60 degree 1-hour fast wash and time saver button I had previously. "

"This is my 3rd hotpoint. Had to replace last one 11 years old.
The annoying thing about this machine compared to old hotpoints is theres no more 1 hour 60° wash . This now takes 2 hours.
