"We bought this hob as we wanted something easier to clean than our old gas hob but didn’t want to lose the convenience of instant heat that you get from a gas hob, we also wanted something that would be more efficient and cheaper to run than a standard electric hob. We are very satisfied with the results, you can boil a full pan of water in about the same time it takes to boil a kettle!
There is some quiet, very slow, ticking noise when using low heat, but it’s barely noticeable unless you are right by it."

"Whilst it does work and respond very quickly to changes, the controls are so unresponsive that we find it a pain to use. You have to hold a finger on the + for one second to 'select' a ring, it then requires you to lift your finger and perform another 1 second press before the ring will come on at level 1. After a further pause it will then increase to a higher setting. But all in all it takes about 6 seconds to get to number 6 from a standing start. Doesn't sound like much maybe but when you're juggling pans and things are boiling over it makes cooking a bit frantic. It also takes a 3 sec long press with two fingers to turn off a ring. And makes nasty beeping noises."
