"Had this 2 months - already broken and has taken hotpoint 4 weeks to come to fix it. The machine started sparking and smelt of burning, while not in use in the middle of the night. The motherboard is totally burnt out.
The engineer cancelled the first time & came 2 hours late the 2nd time, having total disregard for cover rules. Would never buy HotPoint again"

"The selection of washing cycles are brilliant, the only downside is that the drying cycles don't seem to get everything completely dry, you need to run them several times over and you need to have a very small load, the actual instructions are for 3kg drying cycles not 6kg. you do also have to wipe the machine down after drying as the lint collects around the door. If I could have the space for a separate dryer then this would be the better combination but I don't have this as an option."
