"The Leisure Patricia Urquiola PBC273F Integrated 70/30 Frost Free Fridge Freezer in white is a fantastic appliance. It has a lot going for it. We are a large family of 6 consisting of two adults and four children, I am always struggling for space in the fridge section due to the amount of water bottles, milk, lunch boxes vegetables that I have to house, I have previously spent many an evening trying to fit it all in by swapping this and that around until i can finally shut the door. I don't need to do that with this, it has enough space for everything. Our family do tend to eat more chilled food than we do frozen so for us this is a perfect combination. The freezer section even though is is only 30 percent it is still 65 litres so I can still fit lots in there. I love the fact that it has a door alarm because my children are forever leaving the doors open. This is also frost free because lets face it no one likes defrosting the freezer. It has a choice of which side you want the door to open which is always a good option to have. It is very quiet and i like the extra draw in the fridge section. I am not sure this combination would work if you were a family that eat more frozen food than chilled, perhaps a 50/50 would be better but for us it is all about the fridge storage and yes the smaller frozen section does make you think and plan your shopping list a bit more than usual but its a small price to pay for me because the fridge storage is so good. My husband who is a electrician/kitchen fitter fitted the appliance in 30 minutes from start to finish and told me it was one of the easiest models to fit and he was really pleased with how well it fitted in the tall housing so great praise from him. I think my only downside is that it is on the more expensive side but to be honest it has everything I need, frost free, easy to use and easy clean are all things i appreciate when having a large family. I can not recommend this enough. "

"This is an integrated fridge freezer with a 237 litre capacity, meaning it holds a total of 13 bags of food. The split between fridge and freezer space is 70% fridge to 30% freezer. We are a family of four and I think that for us, we could have done with a bit more freezer space. There is more than adequate space in the fridge. This would be very dependent on your own purchasing habits, I like to buy quite a bit of frozen food to avoid having to shop every week so more freezer space would have been helpful, given the choice I would have gone for a 60/40 split (60 refrigerator v 40 freezer).
The fridge freezer fits nicely into a cabinet to allow it to be fully integrated into the kitchen. There is a feature allowing you to put the opening edge of the door on either side, depending on the layout of your kitchen. This makes it suitable for any kitchen layout. There are also adjustable feet at the front of the freezer to allow you to balance it on an uneven floor surface.
This fridge freezer has a holiday mode so that if you go away, you can leave the fridge freezer on, but set it to a mode that will save energy. The other great feature that is rather unusual is that the main body of the fridge has a special coating that prevents the build-up of both bacteria and odour. I haven’t noticed any unpleasant odours from the fridge at all.
The fridge and freezer have separate temperature controls that are easy to operate. We use the freezer on the - 18 degree eco setting and this is more than adequate, we are finding that our food is well and truly frozen - particularly noticeable in the ice cream, which is rock hard. However you can also set the freezer to be colder if required. The fridge temperature is also variable, I have been finding that setting it on 4 degrees is perfect, when it was 3 decrees I found that the items in the salad crisper at the bottom of the fridge were getting frozen.
The fridge has two adjustable shelves in the door and one fixed shelf at the bottom of the door. The two top shelves have a wire visor to hold things in place and the bottom shelf has a double wire visor to hold large objects like bottles. There is also an egg holder which should go on the top shelf of the door. However, the seal on this fridge is so good that when it shuts, the eggs are jumping out of their holder. We didn’t actually lose any this way but as the door shut with such force we didn’t feel comfortable with the egg holder where in the door and have since moved it to one of the shelves in the fridge itself.
The main body of the fridge has four shelves, the top three can be adjusted, the bottom one is fixed. Underneath the bottom shelf sit two drawers, the top one of these is for meat and dairy, the second one down is the salad crisper. There is more than adequate space in the drawers and in the body of the fridge itself.
The freezer comprises of three drawers, the bottom one of which is a chiller section. It freezes incredibly quickly when food goes into it, and remains frozen with no issues at all. I found that the freezer was working very quickly from being plugged into the wall for the first time to being cold enough to freeze things. There have been no issues at all with build-up of ice or frost.
I would highly recommend this fridge freezer to anybody with a large family, particularly if you use a lot more fridge space than freezer space. I really like all the features of it and it works well. My only criticism is in relation to the split of fridge and freezer space for our own needs. "
