"Very impressed so far with this model of fridge/freezer. It got down to temp (after allowing a few hours for it to 'settle') very quickly, is spacious and quiet. The black looks very smart and modern - which is impressive for the lowest cost black / frost-free fridge/freezer we could find. "

"Waited nearly 3 months for different make in black but similar size spec. Spoke to helpful person in customer services and they suggested the Beko.
Main criteria was dimensions to fit into area in kitchen, must be black and most important it should have metal back. Item arrived checked it over and found magnet did not stick to back. email to customer help their response 'all appliances do have flame retarded coating for safety reasons. This is not full metal which is why it is not magnetic. The metal backing is also coated with a flame retardant material'
Item info on website still states 'Flame retardant Metal Back'
I am confused regarding this backing material. When is metal not metal to lay person this question is straight forward but i am sure there is a simple answer
Having said all this product looks stylish next to my other appliances all black. The storage is ample and runs quietly "

"I only give 3 stars because although the internal part of the appliance is the same,the outside of the cabinet is very cheap looking ,I am able to determine this because I bought this same item 3 years ago and have placed them next to each other "
