"Machine arrived, service was quick and efficient for delivery, and installing the new machine plus removing and taking old machine away. The machine is fantastic, very easy to use and quiet. Lots of different programmes and the steam function is great. "

"Good washing machine, very pleased with the wash. Could do with more short wash programs.
My only bugbear is the touchpad buttons are too sensitive and are on the end of the machine. Therefore when people are walking past my machine (it's on the end ) they are inadvertently pausing the wash!
I've not had it a week yet and it's happened 3 times!
There's me thinking that washing should have finished by now and when I check on it, I find out it's been paused!"

"Nice looking washing machine with steam function, but if not looking for the steam function, not worth to take.
Smeg washing machines are made by BEKO, so you pay only premium price for the name. Quality is same like Beko or Grunding (own by Beko) The machine has standart mechanical aqua stop against tap failure only. It has bottom plate designed for the total aquastop (like BSH) but unfortunately it don’t have any microswitch against internal leak
The Smeg (same like Beko and Grunding) is using steam generator to generate steam, but from the entire 15min steam refresh cycle, the steam is generated only for 4min, rest is just tumbling. The steam refresh is working, but not as good you will expect. Exact same program is used in Grunding washing machine with refresh program.
The auxiliary steam function is added only at the begging of the selected program, so no benefit of reduced wrinkles as manufacture says. But yes, it can help softener the fabric.
It has balance sensor, so if the load is to big, the washing machine will reduce spinning itself. You can wash double duvet but only a SUMER or THICK. The washer will NOT wash double down filled duvet. The washer will just do few turns, and wait 50min until rinsing.
The antiallergy program, don’t allow to add steam to the cycle, what is shame.
The drum bearings are not replaceable.
The time delay works very well. You can delay program calculating what time the washing program should finish, and this is very convenient.
Washing and spinning is quest (same as new Beko – they use same inverter motors) All inverter motors are very quiet and mostly lasting long time.
Overall. Nice machine with steam, but the steam is not that good. If you not looking to have steam functions don’t buy. If you looking for machine with steam refresh this one is not so bad for the price. "

"I wanted to have a different washing machine from the usual main stream makers, so I have heard the Smeg items are really very good, so there's only one way to find out so my findings are, it was easy to use and understand the programs and with a washing programs to suit all washing needs, very quiet, and wash's beautifully brought my clothes back to bouncy life, it's brilliant so happy that I bought it."
