Great capacity, looks good, and pretty quiet

"Make sure you get someone to deliver and get it into your house.. it's immensely heavy and awkward to handle because it's so large! Also measure up and make sure it fits through your door. You can remove the doors on the unit to get it in, but that's a bit of a pain.

The capacity is great. It pretty much doubles what we had in a 60cm standard fridge freezer. It's spacious and pretty well lit from long LED lights at the front. The airflow system means everything is getting adequately cooled. There are 'door open' alarms on the fridge and freezer.. not too loud, which is good. The status panel on the front lights up when the doors are opened (or if you press on it) which is a nice effect.

The wifi connectivity (!!) only really lets you set the temperature remotely.. not sure why you'd want to do that.. ever! So that got used once and turned off almost immediately.

Although you can remove the door shelves, there are no additional points to have them at alternative heights, so you're stuck with whatever LG decided was a good position. They're generally fine, but there's at least one I'd like to have moved down a bit where we store the milk.

Some of the LG models have a mechanism where you pull the handle and it assists with opening the door, this doesn't and the doors do feel a bit heavy to initially open (to get past the magnetic seal). It's not a big deal.. just something which would have been nice in this model.

The stainless steel finish doesn't extend to the sides of the unit which I didn't fully realise. Again, no big deal.

It's relatively quiet.. pretty much as quiet as the old unit it replaced. After switching on for the first time it got noisier, and I'm guessing that's where it had to work the hardest to get the temps down. An hour later and it settled & was fine.

Overall I'm very happy with it & would recommend it."

Perfect!

"Quiet, spacious and attractive - the fridge freezer has made an elegant addition to the kitchen. Masses more storage than the one it has replaced despite similar dimensions. Very pleased and highly recommend this model."

Great looking product

"Very happy, well designed and quiet to run.

Miss the wine rack that I had in my last fridge, also part of the motor is on the top which means loss of storage space"

Spacious and Bright

"One of the few designs with no pesky ice and water dispenser it has a lovely bright spacious interior and is shorter than most (which was important for us). There is plently of space in the door for large containers of milk. Don't be disappointed if it leans back slightly on a completely level floor. I gather that this is a feature of fridge freezers which allows the doors to close automatically."

Major step up

"We moved from an 8 year old Hotpoint American Fridge Freezer to this. When we bought our Hotpoint, we were a family of 3. In the 8 years since then we've doubled our numbers and were constantly having to play Freezer Tetris to fit everything in. Now though we've room to spare with this attractive addition to our kitchen. Quiet, holds temperature well and oodles of space on the shelving and in door draweres. "
