"First time owner of a Condenser dryer. The Hotpoint has a large drum which dries the clothes very quickly. The water container has a large capacity and when full a redlight on the unit front will display. There are two fluff filters one just inside the door and the other lower front of the machine. Sturdy build and good looking machine with the addition of a Hotpoint 10 year warranty via registration. "

"The following are the issues relating to this product, which make me regret its purchase and future planned purchases by this manufacturer:
1) The door of the tuble dryer is extremely flimsy . I have to push it with some force on average three times for it to close safely. Bare in mind that the door also acts as the ‘pause’ function , when the clothes are drying.
2) Customer Services of this manufacturer , in my personal, experience, were shocking. I telephoned Hotpoint the day after the purchase to register the product to their ‘ten year free parts guarantee ‘ , which is a marketing gimmick in itself. During this frustrating phone conversation the Customer Service guy asked me if I was completely satisfied with the product. I told him about the flimziness of the door, to which he responded “I’m sure it will work itself out”.
3) In my experience, it takes a long time to dry the clothes fully, even when not particularly overloaded.
4) The machine gets very hot after each use.
