The oven has a nice LED display, and is a lovely mix of stainless steel and black glass. A nice modern looking oven. This looks perfect with our Samsung Virtual Flame induction hob.
Ease of Use
I find the oven really easy to use. It seems pretty basic, but also has some noteworthy features. The manual is very detailed as it gives you great advice on which mode to use depending on what you are cooking. The list is huge, so if you are stuck you can always refer to the manual. The oven beeps when it has reached its set temperature - which I think is a great feature as it reminds you to put your food in the oven.
Functions
The oven has 9 different modes - most you would find on any other single oven, however, there are some which are definitely worth a mention
Steam cleaning mode - this is a great way to keep the oven clean. You pour 400ml of water inside the oven, on the base. Turn the steam cleaning mode on and leave it for 26 minutes, Once it is finished you simply wipe the inside with a dry cloth, and then you have a clean, grime free oven! Our previous oven got so built up with grime, so this is a feature we love.
Eco mode - there is an eco mode that produces the same results as the standard convection/fan mode, but uses less energy as it takes slightly longer. A good option if you aren’t in a rush to cook your dinner
Pro roasting mode- this mode is specifically for roasting meat. It helps to sear the top of the meat once it has roasted, giving it a crispier skin if desired.
Inside the oven
The oven has a useful gliding rail system, you can easily pull out the baking tray provided as it is on a gliding rail. Great for heavy awkward dishes, or if you want to baste your chicken without taking it out of the oven.
The oven has a nice large capacity - 70 litres. This is great for us, as we struggled with space in our previous oven. My only gripe is that the oven only comes with 1 baking tray and 1 wire rack. I feel like there should be at least 2 wire racks included as there are multiple places they can be positioned within the oven.
I really like the oven light feature. The light only comes on momentarily to save energy. If you want to view your food you can then press the light button and it will come on for a short period of time before turning off again.
The dual fan is a great feature for me. The dual fan helps to distribute the heat evenly - so if you put something to cook on the top shelf of the oven, and something at the bottom, they will both cook evenly. In my previous oven, anything on the top would overcook whilst the bottom food would be undercooked.
Overall
I would highly recommend this oven if you are after a basic oven with some great added features. The steam cleaning mode and the dual fan definitely make this oven a great choice."
