"I was a bit bewildered by all the available choices when looking for a new washer-drier. Eventually decided to opt for the Zanussi based largely on the fact that my previous machine,also a Zanussi, had given sterling service for well over a decade. Early days yet, but so far looks like I made a very good choice. "

"When my new washer/dryer arrived, I was so excited because it looks amazing and great quality. I was also very much looking forward to not hearing it.
This washer/dryer is A rater and has a variety of programmes for both washing and drying. They are all quite long programmes compared to my old machine, but there's a feature which allows you to decrease the times at the press of a button.
You can also change the temperature or the spin cycle speed.
There is an auto-dry feature, where you have 3 choices of dryness: ironing dry, cupboard dry or extra dry; indicated with differing sunshine symbols. I wasn't very impressed with the auto-dry feature because it never really dried as much as I wanted it to. Even when I put it on dry timer again and again, it just did not seem to get dry.
I really like the time delay feature, where you can delay your washing by anything from 30mins to 20 hours.
The washing cycles are very quiet, but when using the dryer there is a little more noise, though not much more.
Overall, I love the washer side of the machine, but not as happy with the drying side because of how long it takes to dry anything. I think in future I would stick to washing machine and dryer separately. "
