"Deliberated long & hard and decided on this.
It's a replacement for our previous Sharp model which lasted 26 years. That's pretty reliable! Slightly smaller at 25Ltr. but we can still use or oval dinner plates with space to spare. Looks Good & Works well.

"I have just got one of these from you and I am very happy with it. It is easy to use a bit bigger than my old panasonic one. The only thing i find not good is sometimes you have to push the pads a few times for it to work. other than that , I am very happy with this product."

"This microwave is ‘plug and play’; the only requirement is to make sure that you install it on the work top with adequate space around it for circulation of air so that it does not over heat.
Setting the clock was simple and the digital display is clear and bright.
It has a decent size oven that can accommodate a decent size dinner plate with a little more space if needed.
There are 10 power levels the highest being 900W and going down to 10%. This is fantastic for cooking specific recipes as ingredients that are high in fat or sugar will burn at higher percentages. The 0P (%) will operate the fan with no power, this feature is used to remove strong odours within.
Selecting the cooking time can be done in two ways; either by using the 10min; 1min and 10sec buttons, to use these first a power level needs to be selected. Or by pressing the start button which gives 1 minute and by repeating this goes up by a minute a time, at the default of 100P.
There are several foods on the auto menu function that can be used with just a push of a button; taking most of the guessing out of the cooking. The baked potato function is fantastic, I have used it several times and the potatoes were nicely cooked with no hard patches (I even forgot to turn them!). I can see these been used regularly.
Defrosting can be done either manually where you select a time period and power level – see the manual for further information that is required. Or you can use the weight of the food to determine how long it will need to defrost. The food may require stirring at regular intervals to have it heated evenly. Watch this as I have found there are times when the time and power setting needs to be adjusted and the food has started to cook when it has not defrosted properly.
Having a sequence cooking function is something that is very useful, especially when cooking ready meals that are frozen. Being able to defrost then cook the meal gives a better heating of the meal and found that it does not dry the edges of the meal as much as cooking it at one level.
The kitchen timer is amazing for using when cooking something on the stovetop or in the oven; I bake a lot and this has been a lifesaver as I now have a reminder; plus with it being on the microwave I do not need to hunt for the small kitchen timer.
The function that I really found amazing is the child lock function. This is something that will be used when little ones are around to avoid accidents.
The only downside I have experienced is that with cooking it does have a buildup of moisture and can get wet. I just wipe the oven after cooking so that it does not form a puddle under the turntable.

"The initial set up and installation of the Sharp R372KM Microwave is incredibly straight forward. It is just a case of unpacking the box, placing the unit on the determined work space, plugging it into the wall and setting the clock. The microwave it's self is light and easy for me to pick up and move around myself (14.9KG).
The set up took mere minutes and was then ready to get straight to work. The included instructions were easy to follow and meant that I didn't need any assistance in getting it up and running.
The microwave oven is a good looking addition to my kitchen with it's black glossy exterior and modern finish, it's a very generous size which makes day to day culinary needs an easy objective. The pre-programmed touch display menu make using the microwave an easy and straight forward experience.
At the touch of a button you can prepare:
- Popcorn
- Jacket Potato
- Pizza
- Frozen Vegetables
- Reheat Tea and Coffee (A personal favourite in this house!)
- Warm your dinner plate
There are 11 power levels on this 900W microwave which you set prior to each use, this is a feature that I really like. It means that you can get the best food out of your machine by tailoring the microwave experience to exactly what you are preparing. The instruction manual gives you a very good breakdown of the power levels so that you can work out what the best setting would be for each dish. This one feature alone I have been so impressed with, and it has definitely shown in the food I have been serving.
This function rich microwave doesn't take up much work top space at all, it's relatively quiet and doesn't make unnecessary noise, which is essential in this house where we use our microwave on a daily basis, multiple times a day for one reason or another.
If you are looking for a functionally rich microwave that is easy to use then the Sharp R372KM could be exactly what you are looking for. For my family this suits us down the ground and does everything that we need it to while looking incredibly smart within our kitchen.
