"I bought this washing machine 18 months ago. After 6 months, it started tripping the circuit in my kitchen, always at the same point in the cycle. Three Bosch engineers have visited; two were unable to offer any explanation at all; the third suggested detergent foam was being forced up into the motor when the machine was emptying and shorting it.
The suggested solution was to use less detergent and to use a washing machine cleaner. I halved the amount of detergent I was using; the same thing happened again.
Bosch is now unwilling to do anything about it, except to send out yet another engineer.
I think if a washing machine isn't able to cope with suds produced by half the recommended quantity of detergent, it isn't fit for purpose. I'm also very concerned about the safety of a washing machine that regularly trips the fuse on my consumer unit. I would give this machine a very wide berth, and I won't be buying Bosch again!"

"I purchased this Bosch unit as I was replacing the same one which had lasted 13 years! So although it was a lot more than others I found I knew it would be worth it. I used the delivery service with installation and th added removal which was all at very reasonable prices. The tennant said whole whole thing ran very smoothly and is over the moon with the new washer dryer."
