Well Worth the Money

"I needed to replace my Neff inbuilt washer/dryer and wanted one I could depend upon. I did not realise that in addition to the width there can also be a difference in depth. When it was delivered I had the choice of returning it or accepting that it would not fit perfectly. I chose the latter and am very pleased I did. The fact that the cupboard door sits slightly forward of its neighbours is not very noticeable and is more than compensated for by the larger drum. I am extremely pleased with my purchase."

Bosch Washer Dryer

"Early days but seems really good & easy to use. Especially like the auto dry function. I just hope it is reliable as the other reviews I read."

Very good built-in washer-dryer

"Good range of programmes. It washes & drys very efficiently. The machine adjusts washing time and water use according to the size of the load.

It is very quiet when washing and drying. Spin is also much quieter than our previous machine.

Drying is good, with 3 choices 'ironing-dry', cupboard dry or extra-dry. Or you can set a drying time. The only downside is that the bleep when it finishes is very quiet, so we often don't hear that's completed.

Not cheap but we are very happy with it. "

Lots of annoying issues

"For some reason, Bosch/Siemens/Neff have changed many things since I last bought a machine. I had an intergrated machine previously, so I bought an integrated replacement. However, this idea does not work so well if they've changed all the fittings:

- machine door used to open to the right, now it opens to the right. Not such a big deal, but the kitchen unit cover opens to the left. It's a real squeeze to get in between the two doors.

i could switch the hinges on the cover door, but then the handle would still be on the wrong side....

- the waste pipe on my old machine screwed on, and was longer. The new waste pipe is fixed to the machine, and relatively short. Basically, it was much more hassle to install.

- I fail to see why an 'integrated machine' should come fitted with a plug. My old integrated machine wired directly into a connection box. I had to cut off the plug, and throw it away. How wasteful.

- the sticky rubberised feet make it very difficult to slide the machine into place.
