"The three stars on this Blu-ray player are for the functionality of the Blu-ray player itself. This is sold as being 'smart' and having smart apps. The app list is very limited (Netflix and YouTube), and the Netflix app doesn't work at all. We sent the first player off for repair because of issues with the Netflix app frequently crashing after checking all of the usual things at home (networking settings, distance from router etc). The first unit was deemed beyond economical repair by LG and a replacement was sent. Unfortunately the replacement is even worse with the Netflix app barely even opening. We've since got a fire stick, and have just been using this as a standard Blu-ray player as it's too much hassle to send this one off for repair as well - it is either incredibly bad luck to receive two malfunctioning items back to back, however it feels more like this is not built to withstand even casual Netflix viewing.
If you are looking for just a Blu-ray player, I would recommend this item. If you're looking for something with smart apps, this is not what you're looking for."

"I like the compackment of the product. Not too big not too small just right to fit on my table with the tv. The only down side is the remote control is quite small. The press buttons are fairly tiny and some do not apply to the tv and visa versa. Otherwise pleased with the product."
"I works, well enough at a reasonable price. It’s not all singing, all dancing (unless that’s your choice of DVD / Blu-Ray). Easy to connect, a power cable, an HDMI cable a Blu-Ray or DVD and you’re all set to enjoy your choice of entertainment."
