"It does what it says on the box. I can now record series of programmes and no longer have to plan my life around what is being shown at a particular time. However, the instructions, function screen menu and recorded item list are complicated. It is not very intuitive to use and the remote could be better designed. Definitely not just 'plug-n-play'. As it is the only one I have ever had - I don't know whether it is just like all the rest. ... In a nutshell - I have not had any "Wow, I like that!" moments with it."

"Excellent kit. Quick to set up and use. I don't know which box people who complained about slow response using the remote have been using this is very responsive (much more than earlier Panasonic boxes)."
