"Sure, it's not the highest quality item you'll ever see. That's seen in an instant by the feel of the plastic controls and sense through your fingers when you use them.
HOWEVER, it's well put together and if looked after, there's no reason that the cooker won't last for years.For the price point, it's a veritable bargain."

"I have looked at all the other reviews and unless I have a dudd, this is awful awful oven with the cooker. The price is right however be careful.
I noticed the despite what I did the bottom of the food was burning and the food hadnt even cooked yet!!
I contacted Indesit (via Hotpoint, who knew) and I was told food should be placed one shelf high that normal and cooked 1 degree lower than recipe suggests as the flame is at the base of the oven instead of the back. Well, as I only have one shelf, the food goes at the top of the oven but only allows me to cook one meal at a time and you cant fit much in the oven before it hits the rooff of the oven.
Sadly some of the problem but not all was alleviate and the time taken to cook the food is unbelieveable. A 40 minute cook takes twice as long and no kidding. I could be having the oven on for 2 hours at a time, which means more cost for me in terms of gas and makes me want to not use the oven anymore.
Im really disappointed and cant afford to buy another cooker"
