"This hob replaces a hob without flame failure protection.
Flame failure now shuts off the gas supply quickly.
Build quality OK but I would have preferred better seal arrangements to my worktop."

"Very pleased with this hob. It replaced one which was very similar and a Neff. I can see the updates on this hob which have been an improvement although I was very happy with my old one. The pot rests are lower and more stable, the knobs are chunky and easy to turn. It looks good and works well. Price was very reasonable."

"We purchased this hob as a Neff replacement. The hob comes with a flameout thermocouple on each burner that closes the gas valve if the flame is blown out. the downside of this safety device i that it can take up to 6 seconds of ignition to warm up the thermocouple so that the flame doesn't extinguish when the ignition is released. The 'failure' rate increases if a pan is placed on the burner before ignition. I am sure that it is just a case of familiarity."
