"Our previous dishwasher a Bosch made Technik lasted 19 years so we were biased towards a replacement Bosch machine and now 2 weeks on we are delighted having overcome the slight differences, old habits die hard so they say but after a short while we are in command and control."

"Inherited this in a new build house as part of the kitchen. Appliance is quiet is operation however compared to our last dishwasher in the previous house (a Neff that we had almost 20 years) this is far inferior.
The crockery baskets are useless in that the prongs are too short to accommodate dinner plates and soup dishes. As a result once stacked, large dishes and plates nest together resulting in poor cleaning. We found the only way to get around this is to leave an additional space between each item, rendering the dishwasher to half it’s specified capacity. I should add our crockery is nothing spectacular and of general/average proportions.
Secondly the wash cycles are extremely long - about 3.5 hours. And the choice of cycles is limited. There’s only the option of normal and eco wash (both exceptionally long) and a quick wash which takes around half an hour, though from experience this is only suitable for lightly used items like cups and side plates. Glass does not dry well at all on this cycle. Have to say I miss the intensive and lightly soiled cycles of my old machine.
That said with proper stacking (leaving spaces where plates should be) wash results are good on the eco cycle, though I would expect this after almost 4 hours’ cleaning.
Interior of the appliance seems flimsy too: the crockery and cutlery baskets and also the bottom of the appliance is plastic as opposed to stainless steel like my old one - maybe this is a new thing but to me looks cheap. Given the choice, I would not have chosen this machine for both build and cycle options, but it will do for now until we get round to replacing it. I’m sure there is better out there for the same price. "

"The dishwasher works fine but it broke after 1 day, had to wait 1 week for a Bosch engineer so not great. Piece of metal had bent as not fitted correctly and it cut the hinge wire to the door. Also Bosh cannot give a time on the day- 7am to 5pm so a day off work was needed. Not ideal experience overall. Oh and the quick wash ? Isn’t just a button for some reason, you have to press 2 buttons to use it and I still haven’t worked it out but that’s prob me! AO customer service was very good, they did refund the disposal fee for my inconvenience. "

"We purchased this machine to replace a Zanussi which was fitted with a new kitchen only four years ago. We already have Bosch fridge freezer and washer which have been very good .Very pleased with quality and performance of this appliance so far. Nice touch of indicator light shining on floor.
