"I love Bosch gas hobs, but this was a bitter disappointment.
The hob arrived speedily and in safe packaging.
However one unpacked both the gas installer and myself noticed a dent in the front edge of the stainless steel hob.
On further inspection we noticed that the polystyrene packaging and the box were in pristine condition. Therefore the damage must have occurred at the Bosch production process before the hob was packaged.
The company clearly need a better QA system for their products.

"I love the safety features of this hob, which cut out the gas supply very quickly if the light goes out. This is really important as my mother (it's her hob) had a massive gas leak on her old hob and has no sense of smell!
The hob is very easy to use, the shape of the knobs makes them very easy to use for people with visual impairment and/or arthritis.
All this in a very good looking, responsive and easy to clean hob - very, very happy"
