Expectations exceeded

"Been after a reasonably priced drier for a while. This has great drying quality fairly quiet but I can do all my washing in one day and everything soft and smells nice.

Only had the drier 2 weeks but best thing ever"

Not drying on first cycle

"I have not tried all of the setting yet but the ones which I have tried so far have not dried all clothes on first cycle and I have not been drying big loads, only underwear, tshirts and bedding, but after adding an additional 45 mins cycle they do come out dry. Great looking machine and very quiet."

Great product!

"I was a bit dubious when spending this sort of amount on a dryer, when there's plenty out there that are around £200 and do the job. But I took the plunge and I'm glad I did!

To begin with, it looks beautiful, very modern and I like the interior light (seems a bit of a novelty, but it just adds to the design). A few people I know, would generally refuse to buy anything made by Beko, because of their history, but believe me when I say they have definitely turned a corner and wouldn't be in the market if they hadn't! Controls are very straight forward and easy to use and if you're unsure what you're doing, it has a handy setting that it reverts to every time you turn it on (it makes it easy for people who just tend to stick with one setting).

Just a word of warning though, when you first turn it on, don't be fooled when it says it's going to take nearly 3 hours to dry your clothes... it really doesn't, because of the moisture sensor, it tends to be more like half an hour! :) Most importantly, it's super energy efficient in comparison with others within a similar price range!

Overall, this tumble dryer is the best value for money out there when you're not looking to spend £500+. "

A sound purchase

"I bought this to replace a 12 year old Bosch machine which gave up the ghost. Umm'd and Ahh'd about buying a heat pump drier after reading some very mixed reviews across a number of sites. Decided to go for this machine as the modestly priced option.

So far, I have been impressed. Build quality seems good. It doesn't seem any quieter than my old Bosch but it's no louder and it lives in a cupboard away from the living space, so it's not an issue.

The filters are easy to access and clean and the water tank is simple to empty. The interior light is a handy bonus. The drying time display is a bit hopeless and best ignored. Every load starts at 3 hours but in practice seems to take much less time to dry and the display doesn't seem to be very dynamic in adjusting. My washer takes about 1.5 hours to complete a cycle and the drier seems to have a load completed before the next wash load is ready for drying, so that works for me when I am doing the weekend laundry in batches.

It doesn't seem to get very warm at all (which I am guessing is part of the heat pump design) and the electricity meter isn't flashing like a disco light when the machine is on - but the clothes come out dry. What more could I want?

All in all, I would recommend this machine based on my experience so far."

Beko

"Had this tumble drier several weeks now. On the whole I do like it. I am still getting used to the different programmes and trying each one. My daughters thick ju jitsu stuff dried well on express which was 50 mins. The new heating technology seems to make most noise when it activates but it isn't annoying. It certainly stays much cooler than my last drier so hopefully I will be saving money. The finish notification bell is useless. Can barely hear it in the same room but obviously doesn't affect the drier. I like the control panel, it's simple to use, lots of programmes that I am likely to to use and I love the drum light. Really good idea. The cleaning parts are simple to use too. Though I don't empty.or clean the bottom filter each wash I do the drum filter. It does tell you when it needs doing and apparantly stops if it gets clogged up. I wouldn't. Leave it that long tho. On the whole I like this drier more each time I use it and would certainly recommend it. "

Fluffy Towels again :)

"I have gone years without a tumble dryer, always struggeling to dry wash loads, with very few warm windy days in the UK it is not easy, I have tried all types of clothes airers, they take up so much space, clothes takes ages to dry on them and my 2 year old thinks they are climbing frames so it was about time we got a tumble dryer, This Beko is fab, I have owned it now for just under a week (a very rainy week so no drying outside) I have used it 5 times, each time using a different setting and I am thrilled to now have soft fluffy towels again. Another great thing (it may be a small thing to some people but to me its major) the clothes smell so fresh, way better than air drying. It was so easy to set up, we simply plugged it in and away we went, super easy to clean and maintain with 2 filters and 1 condensor drawer so no plastic tubes floating around the kitchen or stretching out of the window. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a smart, easy to use tumble dryer. Other great things are the internal light (easy to check if my son has been hiding toys inside it) and its 7kg capacity means I can get loads dry at once which is perfect for our family as I do approx 5 large washloads a week."
