"I ignored some of the reviews on here about taking ages and decided it would be better than my old vented Beko which had just broken.
I would have my old one back in a heartbeat, if this was my first tumble then it would be great but theres no heat and takes ages! This does make it more gentle on clothes but if you need something in a hurry - forget it! I’ve followed the instructions for the programs to the letter but it makes no difference. If you have a couple of hours for each small load to dry then go for it but if you need bedding or clothes in a hurry then don’t buy!!! "

"As others have mentioned, it's not quiet, and takes a while to dry. However, it's really energy efficient and gentle on the clothes. There is no moisture build up in the room of our cold house with the collector tank being used, and the drain pipe seems pretty simple to set up.
My biggest gripes are some small build choices that have big impacts on day-to-day usage. The most material is the lint filter, which doesn't seal properly in its carve-out, allowing lint to get past it and onto a sponge filter that Beko has installed just before the condensor, which it says you need to clean every 5 cycles. This is a pain in the backside to clean, as the only way you can really do it is under a tap (they provide a spare which you will need while the other one is drying). If they had installed a rubber seal around the lint filter then I'm sure the condensor filter would need to be cleaned far less frequently, which is an oversight, in my book."

"This heat pump dryer seems to be much more gentle on clothes & does not seem to generate heat as experienced with previous condenser dryers. This means I now feel it’s safe to dry more items in it which previously would have been hung up to dry for fear of them being shrunk or ruined in previous machines. It does not blow out large quantities of heat leaving the room it’s in not hot & steamy. It has a drain pipe included so it can be connected to a drain so you don’t have to empty the water container drawer. So overall a good machine with only one slight drawback which is it seems to be a bit noisy & sends vibrations out through the cupboard shelf it’s sat on. Perhaps I need to sit it on an anti-vibration mat."

"I bought this because of the price and the great reviews but I’ve been totally disappointed. The first one only worked intermittently and didn’t even dry the clothes after being on for over three hours! It was replaced and the second one has had exactly the same fault.
Even when it has occasionally worked (maybe one in 20 cycles) it hasn’t properly dried the clothes.
So disappointed and I don’t plan on buying Beko again for a long time. "
