"Bringing up a family of 3 engineers and a chef, we have been cooking with microwaves for around 40 years, and always bought the simplest control panel (does anyone ever use all the presets?) and the largest oven within my budget (Christmas dinner should be a pleasure, not a chore!) I always wanted a commercial-type flatbed to maximise cooking space and make cleaning easy.
This one ticks all the boxes, with no glass turntable to jam or break and a very even power distribution (minimal hotspots) over the rectangular cooking area (can take a hefty casserole dish). 1000W is approaching restaurant speed on a domestic budget.
Works straight out of the box and seems to be robustly built. "
