Timer "chime" sound level quite low but basically o.k. Cannot comment on oven cleaning (enamel coated surfaces) as not had to clean it yet."

"It's always a tricky thing to buy something as vital and personal as a cooker especially when you are on a budget and have a big family.
The HOTPOINT HARE60K electric cooker (black) surpassed my expectations, it looks really modern even in my very simple kitchen and has become the highlight of my kitchen and my day! I always enjoyed cooking but never considered myself a "baker", now everyday I use my oven! Great for roasts, casseroles, cakes, muffins, cookies, & breads!! Fan assisted oven is a dream to use. The light is just great for baking even the dogs sit and watch cakes and bread rising!
I cannot imagine not having this cooker. Friends and family are well impressed with it too. Such great quality and looks good too. Rings heat up quickly in seconds and so does the oven. I'm still working out the twin grill but have used the top oven and it works well, a light would be welcomed for the top oven but I much prefer the main oven. The timer function is so useful and I can easily hear the beep at the end. I've used the slow cooker function for the first time yesterday and was pleased with the results too.
I got this at a reduced sale price but well worth the full price too.!!
Will happily recommend to anyone looking for a new cooker and oven.
