"I replaced my gas and electric oven with this gas oven and am so pleased .the hot plate cooks meat perfectly. This cooker looks so much more expensive than it was .the only minor complaint I have is you have to hold the knobs in for about 10 seconds to ensure it stays alight and the ignition continues through this so I am concerned that this will wear out quickly and need replacing. But overall I would recommend."

"Robust, good quality cooker. Great product with easy to use features. Love the chargrill add-on. Really pleased with it would recommend it. Size-wise, the oven is probably not ideal for a big family but perfect for 2 people."

"Lovely cooker, looks nice, cooks well. I have the following problems though: When lighting the oven, I seem to have to hold the oven knob in for a while even though I can hear the oven has lit as when I let go it goes out, I try it again & the second time always seems successful. Also the enamel is coming off one hob ring (had cooker for 7 days) have emailed Rangemaster & am waiting a reply on both these queries. If they can fix these problems I would recommend, otherwise would have been 5 stars ?? "

"First off, let me say that AO were amazingly good and replaced this cooker with one that actually works. I cannot fault their customer service as they went above and beyond. Five stars to AO. Helpful, polite, answer the phone when you call them. Without AO I would still be stuck waiting for a response from Rangemaster now.
As for the cooker, if you're buying this thinking that it's a Rangemaster, it isn't. It's a cheaply made pile of tat that says "Made in Turkey" on the label. Mine was delivered with a broken clock and despite numerous phone calls to RM and several "engineer" visits, the clock was never fixed. The clock was replaced and I notice that the PCB inside it has "Vestel" printed on it. The replacement clock was also faulty in exactly the same way as the original! I suspect the only part of this thing that is made by Rangemaster is the badge on the front.
I had this for about 3 weeks and in that time, the black paint across the hob surface started to wear through and the steel underneath was starting to show through. And it did indeed appear to be paint and not enamel. The same paint was on the back where the flue from the ovens vents and when I pulled the cooker out to allow AO to collect it, I noticed that the paint around the flues was already starting to bubble and discolour.
In addition, the grill is almost completely useless. It has flames that are about 1cm long and it takes about 20 minutes to grill a piece of toast.
Rangemaster's customer service is also almost useless. You ring the phone number given and the automated prompts ask if you have a 60cm cooker and then say "transferring you to Pacifica" and then you get a number unobtainable signal. Very useful.
If you're looking at this thinking that it will have Rangemaster quality, think again. Buy a different make. If you want something cheaply made in Turkey then buy a cheap cooker not one that has a premium price on it. Otherwise, run, run away."
