"The reviews for the Rangemaster we chose were mixed. But on paper it had everything we wanted. We are thrilled with the robust cast iron pot holders, and the two ovens. We lost our handy storage drawer, which few cookers have now... but we gained a griddle! It's been a worthy replacement: cooks very well and fits into our limited space. Excellent value. Very pleased. "

"Was extremely happy with my new cooker but did notice that the handle on the top oven was loose unfortunatly this was after the delivery drivers left. I phoned the warranty number attached to the cooker & they are sending an engineer out today so not at all dissappointed. The cooker fits snug in its place & looks amazing."

"This was a replacement received in October as the first one had bubbling on the base of the large oven. This one has a faulty clock/timer which will be replaced when i can find a time convenient for the engineer to call!
I bought the cooker thinking that it was british made, but,it is made in Turkey by Pacifica group and is really poor quality for the price. I might as well have bought a cheap Beko!"

"While it takes several minutes to ignite the oven ths oven space is smaller than a standard 55cm due to the set up of the shelving inside the oven. So non of my pans fitted that was perfectly fine on my zanussi 60cm cooker! To too it off all the writing displaying the ring info above the knobs washed off with soapy water no where in the manual or description does it state you can not clean!!! Avoid customer care is even worse. "

"We needed a cooker 595mm wide and this was the best of a bad lot! It's expensive for what it does compared to others at 600mm wide - it may have been cheaper to have the kitchen altered! Ideally we would have liked a cooker with a lid but we deemed this would be more reliable than the alternatives - only time will tell!. Once fitted it gives off a horrible gas smell that went throughout the house and took several uses to disperse. The knobs are difficult to use as the Gas mark setting are difficult to read and close together so it is a faff try to be specific about which mark you want i.e 4, 5 or 6 therefore temperature varies and you have to allow for this in your cooking times. Also using the igniter to light the oven is difficult as more often than not the cooker goes out before you've managed to light the thing - you have to let the knob out very gently to ensure it remains lit! The oven size is smaller than our last cooker which was the same size so I'm not sure why this is - sadly they don't make that brand any longer! As a result it was a tight squeeze to get the Xmas Turkey in with the tray we have been using and as a result it was difficult to get the Turkey out to baste etc. All that said it coped and we coped with the Xmas dinner after very little time to practice (it was only fitted a week before the day!). Hobs all seem ok but as mentioned earlier in the review we would have liked a lid as we've now lost a work surface in the kitchen when the cooker is not in use - but that was Hobson's choice I suppose!"
