"The product was just okay...my husband was showing me how to turn on one of the gas burners and the knob fell apart in his hand. This was a week ago and it will be another 10 days before the "engineer" can be with us to repair it. Second: there is a flimsy piece of metal that attaches to the unit to "keep the burner handles from getting too hot" - WHAT??? sounds like a design issue to me. Third: We paid for a new extractor hood to match this item, when the "engineers" arrived to install, said they don't install new hoods. So please tell me why the man who took my order was able to charge me for disposing of my old extractor hood when they don't remove it? Cripes, you couldn't make this up. Customer service after the fact was lack luster. When the agent was speaking to my husband and needed to get my approval to refund the £20.00 for removal of the hood which they couldn't do, was less than kind when I spoke about not being a happy customer; remarking that he only needed to have my approval for the refund. The email was actually pinging up when he was saying this BEFORE I even approved it he was in such a rush to get me off the phone. Fourth: We now have had to hire another engineer to come and take out the old hood, put in the new hood and dispose of the old piece. Hopefully, there will be no further issues, but let's not count our chickens."
