"This heat pump machine does take noticeably longer to dry my clothes compared to my old vented dryer but the energy meter hardly moves as opposed to flying up with the old machine.
I think it’s better on the clothes also, a more delicate drying and generating less static. I’m happy with the purchase and feel that the extra purchase cost of a heat pump machine will be negated by the energy savings in short time."
"So far so good! Dries a lot quicker than my old heat pump dryer. It's easy to use and very well designed. It doesn't have any of the fancy frills that some of the more expensive dryers have (e.g WiFi) but I'm glad as I just wanted a basic dryer and there's less to go wrong in the future. "I love Hotpoint products as they are straightforward to use and a good easy to use design. The water tray and filter are really easy to empty/clean. This is the first time I have had a heat pump dryer as previously had a condenser dryer. My main issue with this product is the length of cycle to dry! The only cycle that fully dries all loads is the cotton or bed and bath cycle..... which is over 3 hours long! All other settings leave my washing nowhere near dry. So it is a long cycle and I will be interested to see if this is reflected in an increase with my electricity bill? "
"Have only had the tumble dryers for a couple of weeks but so far seems to work well, the programs are simple to use the washing takes a bit longer than my old dryer, but the towels are lovely and soft so overall so far so good. "
