Ceramic better than induction.

"We were looking for a 5 ring hob, with a hot plate.

Haven’t got gas, so ceramic or induction? Well, if you research carefully (ie get beyond the easy but wrong assumption that induction is always cheaper to run) you find that in balance, ceramic compares favourably as a lifetime cost. (Take into account initial cost, new iron pots, induction more expensive for short heating times.)

Next, which ceramic hob? Well, it’s worth paying a bit more for a reliable brand with decent features and backup.

In my opinion, this model Beko is the bast balance for featured, cost and reliability. "

"Very smart. Just a bit difficult to see the touch symbols on the black surface but generally very pleased with this product."

After scouring the marketplace the BEKO proved to be unique.

"We never expected to find a replacement for a thirty year old hob not least because it was larger than now commonplace and fitted the existing cutout.

The BEKO was precisely what was needed to avoid replacing the whole worktop thus saving hundreds of pounds.

Moreover, it provides a larger than normal cooking area. It is extremely well made and it’s operability most satisfactory.
