"Having previously used and bought cheaper or middle priced ovens, it is clear that with this oven you get what you pay for. It is excellent quality, heats very evenly and is easy to use. I purchased the oven for My father who is 81 has one and has been baking pies; he commented on how even they cooked and the capacity of the oven too. So, it is more costly than some but worth it."

"The two features we liked immediately are the 'Tilt and Hide' door and the control panel. The door moves very smoothly and slides away under the oven cavity, and does so very easily, even with gentle pushing/pulling. This door would be particularly good if you have an eye-level home for your oven. (We don't!)
The control panel gives you information on the many different cooking settings you can use, which include eco settings, Pizza setting, dough proving, roasting, and two grill settings. To start the oven heating , you use the "play/pause" button. The control panel then displays a progress bar, like on a computer, which tells you whether it's reached the chosen heat yet. It took between 3 and 5 minutes for the oven to reach heat, which shows how efficient it is.
There is a timer, and a 'delay start' setting which means you can set your oven to come on and start cooking when you are out or asleep - pretty handy!The timer can be used on its own when you the oven is not in a cooking mode.
It doesn't come with a grill pan, though it does come with a big deep tray which can be placed under the top cooking rack to act as a catcher for grease drips etc. I'd prefer a proper grill tray with a handle and I understand one can be ordered from Neff. The grill does have two settings, one which heats just the centre area of the grill, for small items like toast, and one which heats all across the width of the oven. It took about 5 minutes for the grill to reach temperature when I used it, which I thought was a bit too long for a bit of cheese on toast.
When the fan oven modes are in use, it made a rumbling/clunking noise whilst the fan was kicking into operation. First time I heard this, I was worried, but then came to realise that this is just the sound the fan makes when it's doing its stuff.
Overall so far so good - I like the speed of heating, the bright light, the door and the intuitive control panel. I also noticed that after turning off, the oven retained its heat for quite some time which shows good insulation, confirming the 'energy efficient' nature of the product.

"Excellent product does every thing as described within the instruction book - the only item that does not do what is generally required is the timer when you require repetitive times for different items require different times at the same temperature.
The timer sound is OK if close by but not sufficient loudness if in another room."
