"I really chose this oven on appearance only as I wanted black glass with a digital display. Having used them (we got 2) I’m really pleased they’re great. The glass doesn’t smear and they heat up quickly.
They're a great price too! "

"This oven looks really good in my kitchen. Nice all black front with no annoying plastic knobs sticking out (which usually lose their colour coating and look tatty very quickly). It heats up very quickly in all modes, so if you forget to turn it on while still preparing its not really an issue. There are ample cooking modes to choose from, not far too many superfluous ones like other ovens, which only serve to confuse. On the minus side, it does not cook as evenly as I would have hoped, cooking more towards the back than the front. Cakes cooked this week were nicely golden on top towards the back, but positively anaemic looking at the front. Will have to experiment with the fan plus top heat mode and see what happens. Having said that it is still a vast improvement on its replacement. The internal light is not very bright, and situated on the back top left so does not light up much of the interior, it does turn off after a couple of minutes though, thereby saving a little energy. There was only one shelf with the oven instead of two as stated in the spec. An email to ao sorted that out very quickly, excellent customer service as ever. The controls are very simple and intuitive, which is just as well as the instruction manual is about as useful as a wet weekend in Woking, especially in my case as it suggests which modes to use for a vast variety of animal corpse dishes and I am vegetarian. Still all in all generally very pleased with my purchase."
