"Decent value at that price..however very noisy, can’t use on max setting due to noise, wish ide payed a bit more for a better one and arrived damaged as had clearly been dropped by courier as box was battered and ripped. "

"We bought this unit based on the overall looks/package and the reviews. We cannot rate the hood yet on the noise level or performance since we cannot use it until we buy a recirculation kit, so extra expense making the 'value for money' look not so desirable. The information states that it can be used both as a recirculatory or ducted unit but in order to use it to recirculate the air you have to buy the carbon filter(no problem) and the ducting that it fits onto. As an aside there were no fixing screws to fit the hood to the wall and a less advanced DIYer might have some problems understanding the thumbnail sketch for fitting. All in all not too happy. What a shame!!"

"Bought this to replace a stainless steel hood which was hard to clean as it was so high. This New world hood was cheap and is smaller with a glass canopy but looks a bit small over my 60cm hob. The whole thing is lighter than my old one, it looks smarter and neat. The lights are bright, clear without colour. I bought the filters so I didn't need an outside vent, cost £16 on Amazon. The cooker hood is made by Dimplex.
I am pleased with this item"
