Extremley quiet you can hear it but with other kitchen noises whilst cooking it can hardly be heard which is a blessing compared to my last Cooker hood. Gets rid of steam and cooking smoke quickly. Lights are good .Lights up the cooking pots fine when extra light needed whilst cooking certain foods
The filters are easy to remove
