"On reading other reviews I thought I was taking a chance on buying the BHWD149/1. How wrong was I ! Other reviews mentioned it was a bit slow at washing on some settings and a bit slow drying. Granted some settings seem longer than what I am used to but there is a Fastwash and a Shirt wash which take less time 60 to 80 minutes but don't expect to do a massive load ,3kg to 2kg is the max for a faster wash but for me works out about 10 shirts so it's not bad at all . The Drying is good - works a treat . The only small negative is the spin cycle you can alter it either full on 1400 or 600 , I would have liked more manual choice but I am guessing the machine may adjust automatically with load weight to spin.
I installed it myself - easy to do , easy to operate, very quiet and overall pleased.
If unsure if this is the machine for you search out the instructions online to see the full list of programmes. Overall I like it and If it lasts as long as the old Hotpoint ( 15 years ) then I will be more than happy !"
