"I got this Smeg fridge freezer because of the features and capacity. I'm definitely happy with my decision. The build quality is very good and the fridge capacity is excellent. Especially for fresh salad and fruit storage. The freezer is quite a bit smaller than the fridge and I'm finding it difficult to find the best arrangement for storing my frozen boxes and bags. Although this has more to do with me not being used to having a freezer with shelves rather than drawers. The ice and water dispenser works well as long as you don't try operating the touch sensitive buttons with wet fingers. "

"This American style fridge freezer from Smeg is a thing of beauty in your kitchen! It's finished in stainless steel which looks really smart. I was really amazed by just how much space there is for food. The designers have really used the space so well. Fridge: There are plenty of shelves made from safety glass and so much space between each level that you can easily see everything on every shelf and you can sort things by type, like dairy on one shelf, meat on another, jars on another etc. The doors are heavy but they have added so much storage space into the door that you kind of forgive them for the weight! The fridge has 2 sliding draws at the bottom, which pull out extremely smoothly. These draws are for your fruit and veg and it also has a special blue light technology which actually mimics the sun and helps prolong the life of your fruit and veg.
Freezer: it's a little narrow but its height more than makes up for this! Plenty of shelves and again 2 sliding draws at the bottom for bagged goods. There's also space in the door at the bottom which I think are great for ice lollies for kids, and easy for them to help themselves to as well!
This fridge freezer has a really slick water and ice dispenser which was easy to get plumbed in and it came with all of the pipes and attachments needed. You can get water, ice cubes and crushed ice from the dispenser. The display on the dispenser is lcd so it's nice and clear and the buttons are quite self explanatory with temperature change buttons as well as a nice feature of a quick freeze and quick cool when you've just put your shopping away. You can easily change between water and crushed ice and ice cubes literally at the touch of a button!
This fridge freezer also has a very cool feature of a "minibar" in the front door of the fridge. With a gentle push to release panel, the mini bar slowly lowers revealing access to the inside door of the fridge where you can then prepare drinks be it putting milk in your tea or pouring yourself a glass of wine instead of trying to balance your cup or glass on a shelf in your fridge whilst pouring a drink!
It's quiet when it's running too.
In summary, this has been a great addition to our kitchen, I'm just so pleased with the space inside and all its cool features from the lcd display, water and ice dispenser, blue light technology that mimics the sun, the "James bond" style mini bar drop down panel and its frost free so no need for any defrosting!
