"Have to say we had our last dryer for around 15 years till it gave out last month, done a bit of research and the dryer we purchased seemed ideal. Now having it for a few weeks it’s becoming a better replacement than we expected well done hotpoint a great bit of kit that I would definitely recommend."

"Having purchased the Hotpoint aquarius as a replacement we could not be happier with it. It has a wide opening to allow for easy loading and unloading is a dream thanks to the anti-tangle action. I was sceptical that it would make much difference but it really seems to work!
This isn't a complicated driver with a gazillion programs but it dries well on both the high and low settings and the cool blast for the last few minutes seems to means less creases as well as making laundry comfortable to handle.
The timer is on a twist knob which works fine - it doesn't have a 'time left display' but then you don't need it as a glance at the timer dial will tell you how long is left.
I cant really comment on the noise level as it's in the utility room but it certainly seems quiet enough for a dryer to me.
It's a small thing but I love the fact that it has a left hand door opening - as the driver stands on the right of my washing machine. Previously I had to negotiate the drier door whilst transferring loads now I can just open both doors and move the laundry over. As I said it's a small thing but is sure makes life easier!
Overall I'd say this drier is great value for money. It's basic but it does the job well and I'd definitely reccomend it."
