"Nice machine, buttons over complicate things a bit,
Seems unless you want a 30 min quick wash then it’s 2h + , I know washer dryers take longer to dry but your looking at 3h to dry things, shame no space for Separate dryer ,
Only been using a few days but already missing old machines "

"I’ve always had a separate washing machine and dryer, but wanted a single machine. It does wash and it does dry. My only complaint is how much longer it takes than my old system. A full load on quick wash would take 30 minutes then 60 minutes in the dryer when it would be completely dry and ready to put away.
The ready to wear in 45 minutes program is brilliant, but it only works up to a 1kg load. It’s the drying that takes a long time on a full load, it has quick wash settings which are good but all of the wash/dry settings take 4 to 5 hours! "

"The first machine.
When it was unpacked by the delivery team a 3 inch piece of concrete fell out. This had obviously been part of the ballast weight.
The enclosed water pipe had a kink in it which crushed it shut.
The instructions say to do a "clean cycle" before normal use. When this was done it leaked badly.
A replacement machine was sent promptly.
On unpacking, again by the delivery team, a self tapping screw fell out. Again during the "clean cycle" it had a serious leak somewhere near the front of the machine.
An engineer was sent to do an inspection - I had to wait several days before one was available. He was happy with how it had been installed and with the environment.
At this point I requested that the Hotpoint be taken back and replaced with a different make. I await its arrival and hope for the best."

"I'm overall very happy with the washer / dryer. I was worried about other reviews saying that the wash times were too long. However there are 2 fast wash cycles and another option to cut down any other cycle by 50% these aren't easy to find but you can save your preferred cycles by pressing the memory button. The machine is also very quiet compared with our last and at times we have to check it is still on.
The dryer is ok, because it condenses the washing feels damp and steamy when you initially get it out, once the steam is gone the clothes are dry. I can see why people think they are not and end up drying them for longer than needed.
Overall very pleased, doing washing is not longer a chore for me."

"So far so good.
Large drum get loads in and washed in no time at all with the reduced time functions.
Easy to set up and instructions are easy to follow.
General wash is very quiet but like with most spin cycles that spin at 1400rpm the noise level increases."
