what I love is that it is possible to change your program halfway through if need be,. (see the instructions for this )
The drying takes a long time only because the steam is introduced first.. However I manage to get around this with experimentation. Great for quick dry of shirts, I take them out early. My towels go in for dry... so I let them get very hot and take them out early....they do not get bone dry unless I leave them a long time., so I whip them out early when really hot and hang them out."

"This is a great machine, pretty quiet, has a huge drum and excellent fast spin. Drying time option could be quicker though. Wanted a machine where you can delay when it comes on and countdown timer which it does. You really don t need all the options really so use same cycle most of the time. Am very happy so far!"

"Overall this is a fantastic machine, washes well, extremely quiet, the noisiest function is possibly the dryer but still you wouldn't mind putting it on last thing at night. The only pitfall with this machine, are the dryer timings, there isn't a function to put the timer on for 40 or 50 mins. It has to be 1 hour - 30 mins or 20 mins, so as long as you don't mind that then its the machine for you. Again, I would absolutely recommend this machine"

"It does exactly what it says on the tinew. Both my husband and I are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend it. Furthermore, we have two dogs and three cats and it copes with excess fur brilliantly. No more freshly washed but hairy jeans!"

"I have always had Hotpoint machines and the one I had to replace was 15yrs old. Reluctant to replace it but it had to go. However I have never had a washer/dryer but due to shortage of space I thought I'd give this one a try although I was a little dubious due to the bad press they have received. I've had it for 5 months now and never regret buying it. It's performance is excellent. It's still as quiet as the it was on the first wash. I read some of the reviews before I purchased it which stated that the drying ability wasn't good. However if the instructions and cycles are followed correctly it performs with excellence. I would definately recommend it. I use the ready to wear cycle regularly for a light wash of my clothes which is exceptionally good if you want something in a hurry. It does exactly what it says. 45minutes and yr clothes are washed and dried. Obviously this wouldn't be suitable for a heavy load and the short drying time wouldn't suit heavy towels or cottons but great for synthetics.......brilliant"
