"Downside -The programmes on this machine are longer than we anticipated and awkward to understand.
Downside - It takes 3 hours for a normal wash.
Loads more programmes making it difficult to do a simple wash."

"I wish it was less prescriptive. I'd like to be able to set my own drying times and temperatures. To an extent you can, but still only from a selection it offers. Eg. Low temp for 20 mins doesn't seem to be possible. Also, the wool drying programmes are a bit fierce;if I hadn't checked it my cardigan would have been ruined!"

"I am very pleased with the washing ability of my new Hotpoint Washer dryer. I particularly like the quick wash and spin which is very effective but I am so disappointed with the drying cycle which takes so long, leaving the clothes hot and creased. I t.hink that 4hrs drying time is far too long, particularly with the new rise in electricity prices"
