Not the quietest machine but it washes and dries well so I'm overall happy with the product."

"This washer/dryer from Hotpoint is brilliant. Never new something could be so quiet. It’s easy use control panel lets you select the program for the type of wash, put the load in and forget about it. Would recommend this to anyone purchasing a washer/ dryer."

"Craking machine great value. The washing programmes are ok. A bit long if you ask me. 4hrs30 is its longest cotton wash . This can be reduced to 3 hours on a coloured wash or 1 hour 50 on a white wash. Bit excessive. As for the dryer. Yes it drys. But why it feels the need to make a banging sound every 12 and a half seconds? Well I will tell you why. As its a condenser dryer it gathers water from the wet clothes and the pump spits out the water gathered using this noise. It's a sound I find hard to describe. Bang your head on the wall in the kitchen every 12 and a half seconds and it's kind of close. Kuplunk Kuplunk Kuplunk Kuplunk.annoying but apprently it's normal. Had the engineers out but she's good. Purchase carefully ."

"I bought this washer dryer after both my washing machine and tumble dryer broke and could not be repaired. I wanted one machine rather than 2 so looked at the choice of washer dryers. This one looked like it would fit the bill and it had good reviews. I am pleased with it, it has taken a bit of getting used to but I like the fact that I can do a wash only in most of the programmes, not everything can be tumble dried. The instruction booklet is not great, it's a bit basic. Some of the wash & dry programmes take a very long time (about 6 hours) however, electricity usage is low. All in all, I am happy with the machine and would recommend it."
