"The hob is fine.
The grill is inside the oven. It takes ages to grill anything, only one setting. There is a grill guard that needs to be fitted while the grill is on. It is a nightmare! You can't see your food, it gets hot and invariably falls off onto the open oven door.
But the worst part is the oven - sooooooo sloooowwwww. Even putting regular oven chips in and putting the oven on full they take over an hour. I haven't attempted a roast. Fortunately I'm a veggie so I don't need to cook chickens or joints of meat. Just as well, I don't think I have enough years left in me to be waiting for the oven to cook them as I stand there waiting, watching my hair turn grey, waiting ...

"No timer on appliance, and no way of knowing if the oven has reached required temperature unless one buys an oven thermometer from elsewhere. I did not give these things a single thought as I presumed a modern cooker would have these items as standard."
