"This is a inexpensive and perfectly functional DVD player, but it's not amazing. Despite the claim of upscaling, I haven't noticed any improvement in the picture quality over standard definition. The user interface is very old fashioned too; think of an early 90's player and you'll be somewhere close.
We just wanted something to play our old DVD's on, with a HDMI connection, rather than SCART. In that respect, this player ticks the box."
"Seems to be a good product and good value, would have been 5 stars but lost 1 star because :
(a) no instruction manual and
(b) no HDMI lead, which meant I could not set it up without a trip into town 6 miles away.
Also LG want over £65 for extra 3 years guarantee, when product widely available for under £40. (I would expect a DVD player to last at least 5 years without a breakdown !)"
