"I bought this to replace a larger 1000 watt combination microwave which I used mostly as an ordinary oven. Because of the current fuel crisis I wanted to save energy so I recently purchased an air fryer and wanted to revert to a straightforward microwave. One of the things I wanted was a white interior but the bulk of microwaves on the market are dark inside. This is a lovely gleaming white. I bought the cream but the shade is a rich, buttery, almost yellow shade. My kitchen is a paler retro cream and green but this still fits in well. It’s a very attractive looking machine and comes in a number of colours other than the usual black or white. It’s only an 800 watt but the higher the wattage the bigger the microwaves seem to be and I wanted something smaller. The interior is fairly small. I would think some people will be surprised by that when they receive it. It is difficult to imagine size when you only have the measurements. The turntable is ten and a half inches. The interior height is quite small, the maximum size of anything on the turntable would be probably five and a half inches tall at the most which allows a small gap at the top. The controls are so, so easy to use. The display is digital but is controlled by turning two nobs, one to select the function and the other for time. The start and stop/pause are done using two small buttons. There is an auto cooking setting for a small amount of preset options but I have only used the normal power and time for heating things up. Although a lot of the microwaves I looked at were all digital controls with a vast number of functions I wanted something simple. From experience and also the opinions of friends as to what they do with their microwaves, I believe most people don’t use most of these functions, but stick to the basic heating, defrosting and making drinks etc. I have only two negative comments. One is just about style. The digital display which is a black background has vivid blue numbers. The blue seems out of place for this machine, white would have been better. Also there is no way of turning the brightness down. The only true downside is the door. With my bright kitchen light or sunshine, the door front turns into a mirror. It is impossible to see inside. Other than that this product is simple to use, especially for the elderly or someone who finds the modern, sometimes complicated all digital machines too hard to understand. Overall this is a stylish, simple, efficient little microwave that I definitely would recommend. Things don’t have to be all singing, all dancing to be good!"

"Noisy. Bright. Not exactly what I wanted but everything else was out of stock. The blue digital light doesn't really fit with the retro look. We do like that tho. Not as strong as I'd like despite same rating as my old one."
