"This is just perfect! Shelving layout means that all products large and small can be easily stored both chilled and frozen. No worries when entertaining, everything will be fit in this. My previous American fridge/freezer, although large and efficient, was just so frustrating as the interior was just so limiting when trying to stow the shopping away and it was impossible to lay a large pizza flat in it. No limitations at all with this Samsung. Exterior design looks the business too. A quality product, looks and feels substantial. Definitely one to recommend!"

"Well it took a while before it would actually reach the required temperature but apart from that it’s fantastic. The sections are all nice and roomy, and the chiller drawer is great for keeping drinks cold. The freezer is lovely and deep and with two separate sections it’s good for keeping meats separate from vegetables.
Overall I am delighted with my purchase "

"I spent a long time considering different options for my new fridge freezer. I originally planned to purchase a 2 door (full height) model however having seen this, it seems to offer far more options. I like that the fridge space above waist height and that you can see everything at once. The middle drawer is great for keeping food at a different temperature to the main fridge and I really like the the drawer within the drawer in the freezer. It means that unlike a traditional chest freezer, you can separate out food so its quicker to access rather than only finding the things stored on top!
I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for two things 1. there's no space to store oversized bottles/wine - yes you can move the shelf back but it can easily topple over.
2. the left door space is reduced due to the water and ice machine. That's understandable and the designers have tried to make use of what space is left but its just a shame, there's not as much in other styles.
One other thing to note - I'm glad I read reviews from others to realise that it could take up to 24 hours before the freezer dropped to the correct temperature. I assumed it would reduce slowly but in my instance, it stayed about 12-16 degrees for well over 18 hours and then in the last few hours suddenly dropped right down.
All in all though, very impressed so far. Hope to be able to say the same over the coming months/years"

"I studied the range of Fridge Freezers and what I really liked about this model was the layout of the freezer drawer at the bottom and the french doors on the Fridge.
I think you tend to use the Fridge more so it avoids bending down when everything is at eye level with easy access and superb lighting.
There are other makes with this layout but a friend has owned a Samsung for eight years and had no problems so the brand seems to be fairly reliable.
The real stainless doors look great and the Fridge Freezer will provide a stunning focal point to my new kitchen.
It was easy to order from AO with a superb delivery service and the best available price.
When my Fridge Freezer was delivered I tried to activate my free extended 5 year warranty but Samsung's website is out of date and did not list this model. I called Samsung UK and they said that this model was eligible so they registered it over the phone. The call centre is in Manilla so I did have a few problems with the accent but it is now registered.
Be aware that this appliance is very heavy and make sure that your doors are wide enough. I chose to unpack it myself and it is quite straightforward but you will need at least two people to lift it off the polystyrene base.
I read the instruction book from cover to cover and it was not really clear how long to leave it standing before powering up so I left it 18 hours.
When I powered it up I checked all the functions and set the fridge to 4 degrees and the freezer to -18 degrees. Within an hour the fridge had got down to temperature but the freezer stayed at 17 degrees for a couple of hours. I thought it should have reduced a degree or two so I called the Samsung help line and they said it takes 24 hours for the freezer to get down to temperature. Sure enough, after about five hours it started to drop by about a degree an hour and by bedtime it was down to -10 degrees and in the morning was down to -18 degrees.
I have not plumbed in the water yet as the Fridge Freezer is in a temporary position until the kitchen is finished so I have not tried the water and ice dispenser. There is quite a lot of negative feedback about the ice maker on the Samsung site reviews but talking to a friend who has one, apparently it is advisable to switch the icemaker off if it is not to be used for a long period. When in use he removes the ice bucket periodically and allows it to defrost and dry out. It may be that the problems that others have had is due to the ice freezing into a solid lump.
So far I am very pleased with my purchase and I hope it gives me many years service.
