"Worth ever penny. Both ovens are quiet when switched on and in operation and seems to have a cooling fan action after oven dials are placed to off position.
This oven certainly needs any owner to read the manual as its not as straight forwards to operate till you read the manual. "

"So far so good, although I kept my wire trays for my previous oven, they are an inch too small and the oven only comes with one tray and one big tin in a tray. When I am cooking for the whole family I need at least 3 trays. Hope I can order another one soon. Also the trays do not slide in and out very well, but that may improve with usage. Heats up quick and only took 1/2 hour for jacket potatoes. Hot potatoes!!!"

"Have only had the oven installed for 2 weeks so havent tried every function yet but it is a good quality oven which looks great in our new cream gloss kitchen. The main reason we have given 4 stars is that the instruction manual does not correspond with the functions available. For example according to the manual a roast should be cooked on static with fan setting but this does not exist on the actual appliance which is disappointing but not the end of the world as I am sure we will figure it out. The main oven heats very quickly, within 5 minutes so that is a plus but overall cooking time is similar to our old fan oven. The Smeg comes with 2 regular shelves and 2 pan shelves. It would have been better to have had an extra regular shelf but I am sure we will be able to purchase one so that isnt too much of an issue. The top oven is slower to heat and did not crisp my potatoes very well but we probably just need to get used to using it - perhaps by using the grill and oven setting. The temperature settings are annoying as they go from 170 to 210 which is really random, although you can adjust the control and estimate the temperature this isnt really ideal. The ovens are both a good size which is why we chose this model and it fits under our counter top with a ceramic hob above and looks really smart. Overall we are pleased so far although I dont like it as much as my old Zanussi but I am sure with a bit of practice I will grow to love it!!"

"This oven replaced a tiny single oven. Very impressed with the size and overall quality. Instruction book is lacking and for someone unfamiliar with electric ovens this is a pain. Have not got to grips with the top grill, smoked the house out twice!! Still not sure what's gone wrong. Also disappointed that lower "main" oven does not have the standard "static" setting!"

"Very slick looking oven, main oven very large for its type, good chunky controls, however temperature settings take some getting used to.
Would benefit from self cleaning lining"
