"A lovely looking blue cooker with 2 good sized ovens and 7 burners! Ovens and grill take a while to heat up but work fine once going*.
*A lot of steam comes out when you open the oven doors which didn't happen with last cooker. I followed this up with Leisure customer services and they said this was normal. It's not a major issue but you have to remember to open door slightly, look away, open a bit more and then open fully otherwise you get a face full of steam.
* If you have the oven on for a long time the fan starts to squeak. So it's not great for slow cooking as the constant squeaking after more than an hour or two of being on is really annoying.
On a positive note - it does look very nice - from a distance -and lots of friends have commented on it! And it's great having the 7 burners on the top.
Main issue though is all the paint came off the black back splashback very soon after starting to use - it bubbled up and has come away in large sections now (we've had it 3 years or so now). Also the chrome foil covering is starting to come off the gas control handles.
Another issue, which I did follow up with AO on but never had a reply, was that the internal glass inserts in the oven doors were supposed to be removable according to the product spec. They were removal on my last range cooker - just slid out - but I can't see how you get them out of this one, and now after a few years using it, grease/food/heat debris has dripped down the glass inside the doors which doens't look great and I can't see how you access it to clean it.
I expected this cooker to look pristine and work perfectly for much longer than it has.
I am going to follow up with Leisure and see if they will replace the splashback which is the most damaged looking part (NB I do not use harsh cleaning products).
If you plan to replace your cooker every few years then this could be a good buy for you. If you are planning to have it for more like 5-10 years then maybe consider a different (more expensive?) make and model. "
