"Both ovens, the two hotplate simmer burners and the two high-speed burners do their respective jobs very well, and the enamel surfaces are very easy to keep clean. The grill pan is quite small (15" long), but a detachable handle is included with this model, and the grill itself also cooks very well.
The minute minder is a useful feature and simply beeps when the manually set amount of time has elapsed. It does not switch off the oven, but continues to beep until the user switches it off and manually adjusts the relevant oven control knob. This buzzer is not particularly loud so you will probably need to be in or nearby the kitchen to hear it.
Some other reviewers have mentioned that the names of the hotplates and ovens are awkwardly located below each control knob, but I feel it is better this way so that the position of the gas burner is clearly visible above each control knob.
The operating instructions contained a number of corrections to the technical characteristics of this model. The official usable volume of the top oven is 32 litres, and the usable volume of the main oven is actually 77 litres. The instructions state that the maximum length of baking tray that should be used in both ovens is 14", but I have a couple of 15.5"-long rectangular trays which easily fit on all of the rod shelves.
I do have a few issues with the overall build quality of this product. The glass splashback lid does not lie perfectly flat when the cover is in the lowered position. One of the screws on the main oven door had not been tightened sufficiently so it had been slightly chipping the enamel door frame each time the door was opened. The main oven door is quite light, so you need to make sure it does not swing fully back and hit your adjacent kitchen unit. Disappointingly, I discovered that the main oven burner shield had been fixed incorrectly, although I was able to quickly repair this issue.
I would definitely recommend paying for the connection service when you order this product as the gas safe engineer was excellent and provided the required hose at no additional charge when installing our cooker.
If I was able to, I would have awarded this product 4.5 stars, but have no qualms about recommending this good-value-for-money model."
