"The item was exactly as described and the best thing is that it has a dedicated wine bottle cooler rack inside to save all that clanging around every time you open the fridge door! What a great idea ??

"Delivery men were terrific. It was not the easiest of jobs due to basement kitchen.
Sadly, fan doesn’t work so waiting for Smeg to send engineer. Looks lovely (of course) but my main surprise is the capacity. I’m easliy getting as much in this ‘little freezer’ as I got in my previous 3 drawers! I’m delighted with this space. As for the fridge - what a joy! So spacious and ergonomically designed. Loving the large veggie drawer & the bottle rack. Noisy? yes, but I just think it’s being friendly! (Doesn’t bother me or my hubby). Main disappointment is the cheap plastic door & what look like weak & vulnerable seals. I can’t see this out-living a cheapo fridge (but I can live in hope!)
Overall - stupid amount of money. I saved up for years & can only hope that I don’t live to regret it. Do I like how it looks & it’s functionality? Oh yes!

"Our Smeg died after 15 years of good solid use. Sadly it's not really worth repairing, the thermostat has gone.
We've already ordered a new one!
Pro's - it looks marvellous and everybody who sees it wants one. Reliable (after 15 years and 2 moves I can't complain) and does a great job.
Cons - sometimes makes a fairly loud humming noise, and my wife found the freezer compartment a tad small - we've upgraded to the next size up for the replacement."

"Good product, we bought it because we needed a new fridge with a medium freezer section, smeg is stylish and modern with plenty of storage, left or right hand choice of openings, freezer area plenty big enough as there are 2 of us. "

"I bought this to replace a previous identical one that died after 12 years and which was deemed too costly to try to repair by everyone we called.
This one is identical on the outside with perhaps a less good paint finish, and even smaller on the inside than the last one. It's impractical for a family (which we are now but weren't when we got the last one) and we will need another one (in the garage) to accommodate a sensible amount of food."
