"Operation is quite, the internal light is bright. There is a fair amount of space inside. The control panel is easy to see as it's at the top and visible when you open the door. The alarm when the door is left open is very handy. Has smart appearance. "
"This is a great fridge freezer in many ways - it's much more spacious than you'd imagine for its height, with a good layout in the fridge and plenty of room in the freezer drawers. It has a good build quality and looks more sleek and discreet in black matt metal than plastic models.
When we first had it it droned for hours while it cooled down - we could hear it all over the house and I was relieved to find that it only does this while its cooling. BUT, and it's the reason I can only give it three stars, there is a permanent, very high-pitched whistle that sounds similar to tinnitus. It is not something that I can ignore, it's painful to listen to, so I have to have the radio on every time I'm in the kitchen, which distracts a little from it. This is such a shame and if I'd known about it I would certainly and ordered a different model."

"In truth, we bought this because it was the only 'tall' fridge freezer that would fit the space and was of a decent brand. In many ways it's great, despite it's shorter than average height, it has plenty of room inside both the fridge and the freezer, especially when you remove the pointless wine rack. However, and this is a BIG however, the hum is tortuously loud. I'm baffled that some reviewers have claimed it is quiet! I'm writing this review on the next floor up, at the opposite end of the house, and the hum is still loud enough to bother me. We're now looking at buying foam to go under and behind it, to reduce the noise. It's filled to capacity, it's completely level, we've done everything we should do to minimise noise. It's just horrible. We live in a quiet house on a quiet road, so maybe we notice it more than a busy household but it's like torture! We really didn't appreciate the value of comparing such things before we bought it (and with size constraints, I don't think it would have changed our order) but, if you have a bit more height available and a bit more money I would strongly recommend you go for a quieter model. It's not a sound that I imagine we will get used to and, apart from the large scratch on the side, found beneath all the packaging (fortunately on the wall side, so we never need to see it again) this is my only complaint, but it's a really important one."
