"On face value this is a fabulous machine, which is why I bought one. However, after living with it for 6 months I feel that I am ready to give an honest and informed review.
The main reason for buying was that it stated to be super quiet. While it is slightly better than my last machine, it in no way lives up to the sales ad and I still have to pick and choose when I put it on due to the noise. You can opt for a slow spin cycle which is quieter but it isn't as effective and your clothes are still very wet afterwards.
The wash cycles are a bit lengthy, some being 3hrs+ but you soon learnt which cycles suit your wash and there is a time saver button which cuts the longer cycles in half, so that's not a big problem. Overall for the washing machine element, it does what it says on the tin and I have the only real bug bear for me is the noise.
I am not impressed with the drying element of the machine, however. I have spent considerable time trying different scenarios to get my clothes dry and have finally resorted to not completely drying my clothes in the machine, but taking them out whilst still damp and using a clothes airer/radiators to finish them off. Kind of negates having a tumble dryer then, right!?
Yes, it does! If I had read this review before buying it, I would have bought something else.
So here's why....
1) The dryer doesn't have anywhere for the steam/moisture to escape, so after an hour and a half in the dryer the clothes are still wet. It takes approx 3hrs to dry a full load.
2) It dries by pumping extreme heat into the machine. This means that as your clothes start to dry, they also start to burn. You can tell when you need to take them out as you can smell them burning when you walk into the room.
3) No matter how little you put into the machine, your clothes come out looking like they have been trampled by a herd of elephants! I tried drying just one shirt on it's own but ended up having to run the shower over it and dry it on a hanger because it was so creased when It came out that it looked like it had shrunk! The iron is essential if you choose to fully dry your clothes in this machine (for EVERYTHING!).
4) There is no option to reduce the temperature and run a cool cycle, so you cannot choose to avoid any of these issues by adjusting the temperature.
5) I have dogs, and have always used my dryer as an aid to removing pet hair. You can't do this with this machine. The hair just sticks firm! Not sure why! There is no filter for lint that I can see and damp lint just congregates around the seals and then disappears in your next wash :-/
There are a couple more small niggles but these are the main issues.
If you don't have space for a separate washer and dryer then it's a compromise, but I would try a different make/model. Personally, I when I have more space I will be getting rid of this and buying separates again! "

"Cycles are far too long although washes well. Drying cycles also far too long and clothes come out either sweaty feeling, still wet & extremely creased and very difficult to iron. Instead of making things easier for me having two kids it's just adding inconvenience "

"This product is very quiet compared to it's earlier model. You can hardly hear it running and the spin is very quiet too. We love it as it has a lot more space to put more clothes in. Highly recommended this product. "
