Smeg PGF95-4 Gas hob

"Smeg make a number of different gas hobs including a range of low level versions where the top of the cast iron range is set down into the hob itself. The advantage is a low profile which is pleasing to the eye, but more importantly makes it more difficult to tip a pan. The disadvantage is the hob sits lower into the base unit and may protrude into the space below, impacting on a draw or cupboard space.. We allowed for this by raising the worktop."

Great New Hob

"We had seen this gas hob in a well known DIY store and liked it's low profile, almost level with the work surface.

Researched it on the web and found it £140+ cheaper!!!

The build quality is great, with the pan rings a good weight.

We had it installed by a registered installer who completed the job in no time.

It is easy to clean and looks great.

The ignition system took some getting used to but we have mastered it now."
